Scandinavian Airlines Reveals Nine New Summer 2024 Destinations in Europe

This coming summer, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), the flag carrier of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, will travel to over 130 destinations in over 40 countries. As SAS launches nine new European destinations, passengers can look forward to an exciting season.

There are direct flight alternatives from Copenhagen to Ibiza, Salzburg, Genoa, Tromsø, and the charming Dalaman/Turquoise coast in Turkey.

SAS has announced that it will begin operating flights from Bergen to London and from Oslo to Geneva, Milan, and the lovely Montenegrin town of Tivat.

Furthermore, SAS is increasing the number of flight routes it offers from all three Scandinavian capitals to perennial favorites, Spain and Italy. Up to 20 weekly flights to Malaga will be offered by Stockholm and Copenhagen, an astonishing increase, while up to 17 flights to Alicante will be offered by Oslo.

Italy is another country on the expansion agenda. There are four daily services from Copenhagen to Milan and daily flights from Copenhagen to Florence. There will also be up to 25 weekly flights to Nice.

SAS offers twice-daily flights from Stockholm to Milan and Paris during the high summer season. Oslo is included in the extension, with 14 weekly trips to Split.

At the same time, year-round service to the popular Scandinavian resort of Gran Canaria will continue from Oslo and Copenhagen. A number of daily flights will use Copenhagen as a hub, with five going to Düsseldorf, four to Brussels and Gdansk, and three to Warsaw and Vilnius. In an effort to broaden its customer base, Stockholm will boost frequency to Turku and Vaasa, run up to six daily flights to Helsinki, and increase flights to Berlin.

With a continued emphasis on domestic routes, SAS is expanding its Stockholm-to-Visby, Kiruna, Skellefteå, and Östersund departures. In addition, Copenhagen will have up to seven flights per day to Bergen during the busiest summer months, while Oslo will have up to two flights per day to Aalborg, four flights per week to Billund, and more frequent flights to Northern Norway.
